Mary Knapman kicked off the day's competition with a strong 2nd in the V35 1500m (5:18). Next up were Melanie Peddle and Michelle Hurley in the 2k walk: Mel defended her V50 title from last year in a swift 10:43, with Michelle a creditable 3rd in the V35 in 13:44.
Zoe Oldfield, making her indoor debut, finished 3rd in the V35 800m in 2:38, setting her up nicely for the outdoor season. Ali Trauttmansdorff put in a good performance in the 3000m before showing her versatility by competing in the triple jump. Zoe and Ali rounded off the day in the V35 and V50 4x200m relays (2nd / 3rd respectively).

The ladies' results contributed to the EMAC ladies team finishing a close 2nd overall, just 2 points behind the Midlands, but combined with the men's scores it was enough for team victory overall - the first time EMAC have won the title since 2019.
The ladies now turn their attention back to cross-country for the final fixture of the Chingford League, before preparing for a summer season on the road and track.
